| You ever get the feeling you are meant for something great, I do. You learn a great deal from being at college, you learn the specifics of your trade, you learn how to meet and interact with new people, you learn how to create long lasting relationships, you learn what your parents are really like. But maybe most importantly you learn about yourself, what you are good at and more significantly what you are bad at. You learn a sense of self-awareness that which is essentially significant for the rest of your life. You learn who you are, who you want to be, you establish a set of morals which you try to stick to as best you can. There is always something you can learn about yourself, something you can improve on, something that you didn’t know was inside you. Life is relationship oriented consisting of constant interaction with people, and you want to know the secret to being successful, the secret is to know thyself. Know yourself inside and out, be aware of what and who you are and listen to yourself talk. I challenge you to reflect, take a step back, analyze situations, consider all alternatives and make the best possible decision in accordance with what you believe. Once you have a good understanding of who you are, try to figure other people out, try to determine their motives, their attributes, and how they would interact in certain situations and with certain groups of people. As previously mentioned, we as humans are relationship oriented and this is the time, right now to figure out who you are, and what type of person you will become. Don’t put it off, learn from it, adjust yourself to it, and stick to what you believe.
Spring break was awesome. I went to a Coldplay concert with Abigail in Cleveland, which was amazing. I went to Florida, we went on a gambling boat for my brother’s 18th birthday, and we went to see Dodgers spring training in Vero Beach. I love going to baseball games, we saw the Dodgers play the Marlins and Cardinals. I got to hang out with my awesome friends from Jackson and my family. I’m excited about this spring quarter, although it seems I will be doing a lot of reading and writing for my classes. Todd and I have been running everyday in preparation for the marathon we would like to run in October. I really like eating at the rpac now, and if you want to, just let me know and I will come with.
As always, sharpen ya teeth,
